The CGExtensions module Error

Post by dnatec »

I tried to install any module and I get this error:
ERROR: The CGExtensions module could not be found.

Warning: file_get_contents() [function.file-get-contents]: Filename cannot be empty in /home/www/dnatecservices.com/admin/listmodules.php on line 116
Error parsing XML file. Please make sure you are uploading a .xml file and not a .tar.gz or zip file. (Troubleshooting)

So I downloaded the xml file located here: http://dev.cmsmadesimple.org/project/files/291
version 1.22.1

I uploaded the xml file and the same error occured. So I assume that this module is a very important module to install any module. My question is how can I fix this error, and what xml file should I upload for this to work.

Here is a screenshot.

I take it you can't get to module manager because of this, if you can you can try installing CGExtensions from there, worse case is to DL the tar unpack then FTP it to site > modules folder then you should be able to go to extensions > modules and install it there...
