Add Blog to my site?

Hi,

I intend to add a blog to my site and would naturally like to use a module on my CMSMS installation. But before I spend a lot of time setting everything up I was wondering if anybody had any recommendations, tips, etc?

What about RSS, pinging etc?

Any tips or advice would be most appreciated.

Thanks for the link - it will be a great help in getting set up.

Does that set up facilitate auto pinging when a new post is added? I only ask because I notice that Wordpress can do that, and of course blogger pings Google.

Actually you can create rss feed with cgfeedmaker and create feedburner account http://feedburner.google.com/, feedburner can ping other services on change in your feed.
