Hi Hans,

I started this thread and formulated the problems clear enough.
Clearly Robert read it, so there is no need to repeat this and I guess/hope
he will make a new release of CGGooglemaps.

Jan

Connie, didn't you state you will no longer visit this Forum? I wouldn't miss your statements here, as there is not a single positive post from you.
Critics are good, bug reporting is good, but not in the way you do it!

I wonder if you get Peugeot for free?

So is CGGoogleMaps broken now that I've upgraded to the latest CMSMS?

It worked fine on my older version of CMSMS on my development server, but since we are getting ready to launch, I'd like the client on the latest version. Here's the error I got when upgrading CGGM. I get this when I click the "Upgrade" link in the Module Manager:
Fatal error: Uncaught exception 'Exception' with message '-- Access to invalid function from class (cggm_map)' in /home/@@@@@/public_html/sheldon/modules/CGExtensions/lib/class.friendly.php:20 Stack trace: #0 /home/@@@@@/public_html/sheldon/modules/CGGoogleMaps/lib/class.cggm_map.php(70): friendly->is_friendly()

<annoyance>
Another thing, when I try to upgrade anything from the Module Manager, I get the WHITE screen of death. I have to use FTP to delete the module's folder and reinstall the latest one as a fresh install. What is up with that?

Here is what I had to do to get CGGoogleMaps back up and running.

1. Delete the following module folders (via FTP):
a. CGExtensions
b. CGSimpleSmarty

2. Install CGExtensions (via its XML file)

3. Install CGSimpleSmarty (via its XML file)

4. You can now click on the "Upgrade" link for CGGoogle Maps and it works just fine, no bellyaching or PHP or Smarty errors. :)

HTH someone else.

Nope. I spoke too soon. It's NOT solved. It keeps bellyaching it needs jQuery, which I installed. I put the {jQuery} tag in the page template like it asked, cleared the browser cache, cleared the CMSMS cache and still it complains.

::bangs head on desk::

I could become a raging alcoholic REAL QUICK today.

UPDATE:

Download this jQuery Tools plugin and put its tag in the head of your page templates.
