Can I expect anything to go wrong by Upgrading from 1.7 "Cape Verde" to 1.9.2

Should be possible as i already did updates from 1.7 without any big trouble after updating all third party modules to. You should check if modules you use were updated lately to ensure functionality and also do complete backup of your files and databsae.
