CMS Partner Modevia disapear

Post by boby »

Hi,

A couple of month ago I decided to change hosting company and went for Modevia which was recommended on CMSMS web site. It was not that cheap but I was looking for reliability.

It has been three days now that my web site is down, the support page is down, Modevia web site is down and I have no news at all.
Do you know if the company is still running? Why Modevia is not advertised anymore on cmsms web site?
Do I have to switch again to another company? Arvixe is reliable?
Thanks

I don't know about Modevia, but I'm happy with Arvixe.

The hosting providers on the old hosting page were added by request.  They were not tested or vetted in any way, and were just put on there becsause they supported CMSMS or at least the minimum requirements to host it.

Because we're now int the position of having real hosting partners (which are tested and vetted properly and have a good reputation), we've removed that page because it could cause confusion.  Unfortunately, we don't know anything more about Modevia than you do, and sorry that you're having an issue with them.  We won't be advertising any hosting providers in the future that we don't know inside and out before hand, so that these exact type of issues don't happen.

In addition to that: Arvixe is an official hosting partner and we tested them inside out. They are good  :)
