Downgrade CGExtensions

Help with getting the CMS CORE package up and running. This does not include 3rd party modules, PHP scripts, anything downloaded via module manager or from any external source.

Downgrade CGExtensions

Post by piere123 »

Hi I an not sure if I am posting in the correct area. I have been running cms 1.8.2 happily for a while now. My client has upgraded the CGExtensions to 1.22.1 and now company directory isn't working correctly. In the modules it is also saying beside CGExtensions needs a minimum of 1.9.1.  How do I downgrade the CGExtensions?

Thanks for your help

I guess your client did not make a backup prior to upgrading the module? That would be easiest.  :D

May I ask, why not upgrade CMSMS core + all modules to latest version?

They didn't backup. I read that there has been a lot of problems upgrading to 1.9.2 from 1.8.2. I have also only done upgrades one increment at a time, so not sure on how to do the upgrade for such a increment.

For upgrade from 1.8.2 to 1.9.2 you just overwrite with all folders/files, run site.com/install/upgrade.php...
