Darwin Web Design website upgrade

Post by Darwin Web Design »

Hello

I've just upgraded my own website, I particularly love the CG Blog and RSS module and the gallery too is very powerful and gives so many options for customising. I'm still finishing off a couple of small outstanding things and feedback is welcome:

Installed Modules:

    * FileManager: 1.0.3
    * MenuManager: 1.7.2
    * ModuleManager: 1.4
    * News: 2.11
    * nuSOAP: 1.0.2
    * Printing: 1.1.1
    * Search: 1.6.7
    * ThemeManager: 1.1.3
    * TinyMCE: 2.8.1
    * Captcha: 0.4.3
    * CGExtensions: 1.21.6
    * CGSimpleSmarty: 1.4.5
    * CGBlog: 1.7.1
    * FormBuilder: 0.6.4
    * Gallery: 1.4.1
    * NMS: 2.3.2
    * SiteMapMadeSimple: 1.2.2

Wow congratulations. That look amazing. How did you get your form to look that way? I'm trying to use  form builder as well and mine doesnt look anything like that.

Great job!

Really nice! Readability is very good with the amounts of whitespace!

Thank you for the positive feedback. Regarding the form, I didn't do much really - just some CSS but let me know if you have any queries.

Very nice design, well done!

Just one tip, use:

Code: Select all

a {outline: none;}
to hide the grey link border in firefox :)

If you click in a link, let's say in your top menu, and press the link for a few sec. you will see :)

outline is important accessibility feature  so it is not really recommended removing it or you should at least replace it with focus like a:focus{something}
