FeedBackForm wish list

Post by Dr.CSS »

when i open the FBF to edit it would be nice if the 'select field type' dropdown was right there on the top of the list of field types, it's a lot of cliks to get to input the values,
how come some times i can't move the order of fields up/down, and some times when i delete a field in the middle of the form the next one i make is not at the bottom?  8)

Can you explain this to me? Like, instead of an "add field" button on the form page, you'd like the dropdown so you could specify what kind of field to add right off the bat?

how come some times i can't move the order of fields up/down, and some times when i delete a field in the middle of the form the next one i make is not at the bottom?

It's a bug. And it's kind of deeply integrated with the way FF was written. The replacement, FormBuilder, fixes this (and many other problems). The FormBuilder beta will be released in the next week or so, depending on whether I get over my cold sooner or later.

Yes to the first one, and if it was at the top it would be great, i have a medical type form and it is 13 pages long in word that i'm putting on a web site so every time i add a field i have to go to the bottom of the page, it's getting to be pretty far down there,
too bad about the second one, and i hope you feel better soon  :D

OK. I've implemented this as an option ("Fast Field Adder") in FormBuilder. Now I just need to finish the rest of it, and get it out there for people to test.

Thanks for the idea.

The bug occurs when their is no Tag. All you have to do is add a random tag to the field then hide it with the option (not, sure if this option is avaliable for all fields)
