Installing on Windows 7

Help with getting the CMS CORE package up and running. This does not include 3rd party modules, PHP scripts, anything downloaded via module manager or from any external source.

Installing on Windows 7

Post by aguevara »

All,
I had to re-install CMS made simple due to a hard drive crash. I have re-installed PHP and MySQL without any issues.
While installing CMS version 1.9.1 (Toopua), I get to the point where I provide the database information (step 5?).
I provide the information, it takes a while and presents me with a blank screen thus I am not sure what is the problem.
Is there any way I can check what the issue is?
I checked the database user name and password by hand by going into the MySQL client; all is well there. I also created the database before getting to step 5 just to make sure it exists, I thought that may be the issue.
Please let me know if there is a log I can check into to see the outputs of the install, I could not find it. I checked the Apache log to no avail.
BTW, I am using Apache and MySQL 5.1.53-community MySQL Community Server (GPL).

Please let me know if you all have any ideas, comments. You can email me at anye@caripito.com.

Thanks,
Angelo
