Pictures in webpage shown as [img] instead of the actual picture

Hello, i'm new to this so don't shoot me for this question.
I've just installed CMS and is working fine, the only problem is that when i change a picture of ad a new one , i got this '   ' instead of the actual picture.
Is there something i forgot to do ?
Anyone ever had this problem , already searched on this forum , but nothing so far.
Can somebody help me please ?

Need more information. What module you are using? also post any the templates and stylesheets.

What is the exact URL of the image you are trying to replace?

How exactly did you try to replace it?

it's just the standard cms installation , i just tried to put a picture on this page

and got this result
i'm using the tiny editor with comes with the package , nothing special ....

OK.. You still didn't tell me exactly the steps you took to attempt to place an image on a page.

Also on this site, I see a bunch of tags, which certainly won't work.

You obviously didn't use the insert/edit image button to put it in, tiny doesn't use bb code...

Interesting.. Tiny is inserting the [/img][/img] tags... Never seen this before.

yes indeed, i tried joomla to and works fine but to big for this little project....
maybe a complete uninstall and install would work ?

Was this a stock install? Or did you add any BBCode module, or play around with Tiny's settings?

With that login there is no way to see if something strange is going on in tiny, which it looks like there is but can't get to tiny admin to see/fix, try going to tiny admin and on advanced tab hit Reset all settings to default...

i tried a second install and it works fine now, just try to figure out to get the 'browse' button back in tiny to import the pictures , but i'm getting there...
