[SOLVED - my bad] just upgraded 1.8.3 to 1.9.1

Help with getting the CMS CORE package up and running. This does not include 3rd party modules, PHP scripts, anything downloaded via module manager or from any external source.

[SOLVED - my bad] just upgraded 1.8.3 to 1.9.1

Post by Snigx »

Hi

I just upgraded 1.8.3 to 1.9.1 but now it wont show my test site right =(
Probably did it the wrong way i guess,.. I downloaded the new version unpacked it and uploaded it rewriting the old files,.. I went to the admin page and updated all my modules.

Then a notification showed with the "+" sign and told me to upgrade something (dont remember the word) after that no more notifications showed in the admin area.

When I try to show the page it only shows the following:
http://jernbanemaerker.triodimenzionale.dk

The old installation was with all the test material as well so plenty of text should be visible.

All my templates and css is still there. Anyone have a clue as to why it wont show more than it does?

Best regards
the noob

uhm where do I find the error logs? Administrator log doesnt tell eme anything =(
the menu tag looks like this:  {menu template='accessible_simple_navigation.tpl' number_of_levels='1'}
it has worked fine until the upgrade to 1.9.1.

I have just installed a fresh clean version of 1.9.1. and when I use the same templates and css I have a somewhat similar problem,.. it still shows -skip to navigation and -skip to content at the top of the page. But it also show the menu where i placed it in the layout but instead of being horizontal its vertical...

So im wondering if there are some major changes from1.8.x to 1.9.1.?

After spending alot of time thinking things through Im sure i have made a mistake,.. Im pretty sure that i made some changes to the original files and these have been overwritten,.. =(

So im sorry to have used your time trying to figure my problem out. Ill just have to start all over with the menu.
