[solved] Can not edit pages

Help with getting the CMS CORE package up and running. This does not include 3rd party modules, PHP scripts, anything downloaded via module manager or from any external source.

[solved] Can not edit pages

Post by Sheaffer »

Hi,

I am using CMSMS ver. 1.6.8 on a linux server with PHP ver. 5.1.6.

There is a problem. When I go to content -> pages and then click a page, the edit page screen opens. However, I can not edit the actual content. Because that (WYSIWYG or code) field is missing. All the other fields are there as they should. On other pages, such as menu editor or stylesheet editor, all is fine.

For now I am not able to upgrade to CMSMS ver. 1.9.1 because our hosting provider uses a version of PHP below the minimal required one.

I have tried to empty the cache, do a complete re-install, disable and even uninstall the WYSIWYG editor, but nothing seems to help.

Any idea's will be greatly appreciated.

Have you tried hitting the "reset all settings to defaults" button in tiny admin advanced tab, if that doesn't work try changing the permissions on modules and tiny folder to 755?...

I will say this has been discussed many many times in forum, search is your friend... ;)

That wasn't it.

I forgot to include a {content} tag in the template. Stupid. Glad there is a warning in CMSMS 1.9.1.

Dr.CSS Thanks anyway ok ;)
