Upgrading to 1.9.1 - file marked as having virus

How are you uploading it, FTP or ? ...

Best bet is to go to your cPanel file manager and upload tar, unpack on server...

hmm im having trouble with the file manager. Getting error:

Precondition Failed

The precondition on the request for the URL /cms/admin/moduleinterface.php evaluated to false

The file manager is reporting R permission on all folders and files  but they have all been chmodded to 777 in ftp.

After I did the upgrade using ftp, I ran the upgrade.php. I had to upgrade some of the modules as well. However one file (see previous post) kept getting refused by filezilla claiming it had a virus.

So I am currently trying to upload this php as you suggested using the file manager. However the FM reports the perms for all files and folders to be R despite having chmodded them to 777.

I've never heard of FileZilla having any kind of anti-virus. No mention of this on their website... I've used it many times to upload CMSMS.

Could it possibly be the hosting company trapping FTP "STOR" commands and running some kind of anti-virus on it?

It looks like you might have to contact your hosting company regarding this and your file manager issue.

I contacted the hoster, and they told me to use the file manager in the control panel which worked.
