Quote needed for multi-artist online gallery

Hi,

I'm working with a local arts group on their new website and need a quote for a gallery section. I might be able to figure it out using existing modules from the Forge but it will take me too long to do, so I'm turning to those who can do this in their sleep.


Gallery structure:

  - Visual Arts
    - Painters
      - Painter 1
      - Painter 2
    - Photographers
      - Photographer 1
      - Photographer 2
    - Sculptors
    - etc.
  - Music
  - Dance
  - Theatre
  - Literary

- the top-level categories and sub-categories would be pages that are accessed via drop-down from the main menu

- each artist requires their own listing with biography, contact info and image gallery
- each artist should be able to log in to edit their own information
- each artist will have their own folder(s) into which they can upload images - we need a secure way for them to do that, i.e. artists should not have access to the files for any other artist. Ideally, uploads would happen through the Gallery module but my understanding is that it's not possible to restrict access to specific folders. I like the resizing feature of this module; I note that when I use Uploads to add images to the Gallery folder, they are not resized (not so good - the users are completely non-technical and are likely to upload huge files, so the CMS needs to look after that for them.)

Ideally they would be able to do all this through the front end rather than having them log in to the Admin area. Cost would be a deciding factor for this feature.

Please send me a PM with estimated time and cost to set up this gallery. The project would happen in January/February but I need to give the group a quote as soon as possible.

I am looking for PHP developers with CMSMS experience who would be interested in working with me on other projects as well.
