[SOLVED] Problem with migration

Help with getting the CMS CORE package up and running. This does not include 3rd party modules, PHP scripts, anything downloaded via module manager or from any external source.

[SOLVED] Problem with migration

Post by urbanbindi »

I've just moved CMS MS 1.6 from a test server to a new server following the installation guide.  However when I point my browser to the site mydomain.co.uk/index.php all I get is a 'site down' message.  It looks like the default site down message from within CMSMS.

I can log into the admin area but all the content is blank.  I can go to each admin section (pages, templates, modules etc) but there's no content whatsoever.

I'm getting a weird line of text in the drop downs under modules:

--Add Me - module:CMSMailer string:friendlyname--

Looks like the modules are missing, but they're in the directory structure.

Can anyone help with this?  I've found other posts similar to mine and nobody has been able to solve it..

Looks like some of the files are missing - especially lang files.

Have you tried re-uploading all of the files?
Have you done the checksum?
Have you cleared the cache?
Have you fixed the paths in config.php?
