Google analytics

Post by jondrew »

Hi

I've just finished building a site for a client and they asked me to install google analytics - they sent me the code and I added it into the head of the doc in the HTML template via CMS MS. However the analytics doesn't seem to be working - has anybody got any ideas? The site is here: www.snapswall.co.uk

GA returns data of last day.
GA account owner has to prove ownership of a site by metatag or file or any other mean provided by GA.

You might want to put it at the end (before ), so if there is any GA slowness, it won't hang up the site load.

jondrew,

Your Google Analytics code looks good to me - the new GA code goes in the HEAD of your page (like you have done), while the older version used to go just before the tag.

Keep in mind it takes 24 hours for the code to start working - so perhaps by now everything is good.
