Moved to new server, now index.php is blank

Help with getting the CMS CORE package up and running. This does not include 3rd party modules, PHP scripts, anything downloaded via module manager or from any external source.

Moved to new server, now index.php is blank

Post by jhaynes75 »

I've uploaded the files from my previous host, then ran the INSTALL, modified the config.php then imported the database from the .sql backup file.

The Admin portal is working, but when I view the site, it's blank.

Help!

Try clearing out the cache from the admin panel.

Site Admin -> Global Settings -> Advanced Setup

Turn on debug mode in config.php and see if there is anything interesting.

Make sure that the cache and templates_c in /tmp have write permissions.

Thanks Wishbone.  I've turned on debugging and now I see this:

Fatal error: Call to undefined method CMSMailer::ContentPostRender() in /services10/webpages/c/h/choicesforchange.ca/public/index.php on line 321

Here's a thread that covers the same issue.. It was resolved, but I'm not sure if it's helpful.

http://forum.cmsmadesimple.org/index.ph ... 581.0.html

I read that, but it refers to version 1.7.1 which would be a downgrade, so I'm hesitant to do so.  I will try it with my installer that I have and skip the step it outlines in that thread.

Running md5 verification showed that many files were transferred with an error. Overwriting all files with a fresh copy of CMSMS took care of that.
