Loading Page using AJAX

Post by opawaldburger »

Hi Folks!

For the website I'm currently making I want a small player on the head of the page to play songs. The problem is that it will always be interrupted when a new page is loading. So I wonder if there is a way to load the {content}-Content from the database without refreshing the page using AJAX.

And I strongly believe in that there is way to do that, but AJAX is as common to me as bulgarian folk-dance, so I could use a bit of help!

Thanks a lot,
Opa

EDIT: CMS MS 1.9 btw!

First of all: Thanks for your reply.
But after a ot of thinking I decided to discontinue this project, since it just became too complex for me. The pages are kept bilingual and with the ajax request the whole system doesn't work any more as it was meant to be. I'm good at HTML and CSS, but when it comes to JS and PHP I haven't got a clue, so building up a site on a lot of those two things is not the best I can do! :)

btw: great job on the SuperSizer plug-in!

greetings,
opa
