Creating a Blank Database for Installation
Right now the website I am helping a friend with has no CPanel and just a FTP login. In the past I have used CPanel to create my blank database and then installation was simple. How do I create a blank database with no CPanel? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

This really isn't a CMSMS specific question.
Your best bet is to ask your host how to create it. There could also be some PHP scripts that will allow you to create a database (like installing PHPMyAdmin) but the host could have some restrictions in place.

If all else fails, use a bigger hammer.
