drop down menu

Hi,
I setup CMS and modified the template given at time of install. The menu, that includes a drop down is the last item I am attempting to customize. I would like the links to be images instead of text. How do I do this and where would I go to make these changes??

You would go to the menu style sheet, but you don't say what template or what menu or much of anything that helps us help you...

I just used the default template that comes with CMS - I think the clean blue. I tried the menu and all the files are locked??
