admin error

Help with getting the CMS CORE package up and running. This does not include 3rd party modules, PHP scripts, anything downloaded via module manager or from any external source.

admin error

Post by enddes »

I am installing CMS onto a 1&1 hosting account. I was successful with the install process however, when I now go to the admin I get the following error. Any ideas on how to fix this?

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected '&', expecting T_VARIABLE or '$' in /homepages/9/d163196088/htdocs/lib/page.functions.php on line 1395

I think the answer is in this post: http://forum.cmsmadesimple.org/index.ph ... 948.0.html

I think the main issue in the other thread was the wrong PHP version. Which version of PHP do you have and which version of CMS?

I took out a & on line 1395 and now I get the following error (and if I put the & back in I still get this error)

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected '}' in /homepages/9/d163196088/htdocs/lib/page.functions.php on line 133

You will have to upload the whole thing again, try going to the server admin panel and uploading the tar.gz and unpacking it on the server instead of using FTP...
