Okay, i've just installed formbuilder and configured a few simple contact-us type forms. All seems pretty straightforward ...except for one thing i can't seem to figure out:
Our form submissions are working fine and are being received. However, the system is also sending a plain-text copy of the message to each sender's address.
While this is not really necessary, its okay by us to allow this to happen ....but we'd like to find and tweak the output for them. We did so for the incoming messages through editing the form's "send-to" field's email template - which was under its' "advanced settings". However, this does not seem to affect the email copy that is sent to the sender.
Anyone know where / how to tweak the senders' copy output???

Re: formbuilder sending copy of message to sender
okay, never mind - i just found the "Send user a copy of submission" setting - under the form's "Email Address:" field type, and set it to "Never".
This is just as well ...as enabling it (if we weren't using captcha) could open the forms to potential spam activity.

You could have just used a different field type for it instead of having to change it to "Never"...

I'm all ears - can you explain what you mean? How does changing the field type alter whether the sender receives a copy of the message ...and how would that enable us to edit the format of the message copy they receive?

If you open the *Email "From Address" Field, and send copy field and go to the Advanced Settings tab you will find an email template that you can change to reflect what you want...
If you don't want them to get an email you can choose a different field type for their email address, as one is "get their email" the other is "get their email and send them a copy"...
