[solved] Call to undefined method CMSMailer::GlobalContentPreCompile()

Help with getting the CMS CORE package up and running. This does not include 3rd party modules, PHP scripts, anything downloaded via module manager or from any external source.

[solved] Call to undefined method CMSMailer::GlobalContentPreCompile()

Post by twz »

I just tried upgrading a site from CMSMS 1.2 (yeah, I know) to the latest 1.8.2

Everything seemed to go smoothly, no errors reported. I can log into admin no problem, but when trying to view the public site, it just shows an error message:
Fatal error: Call to undefined method CMSMailer::GlobalContentPreCompile() in /home/USER/public_html/plugins/prefilter.precompilefunc.php on line 60
I tried running the System Verification and uploaded the checksum file, but it report every file as missing (960 Files Not found) - is there a path problem with this tool?

Can anyone suggest how to solve this please?

I thought that ALL files were not found in System Verification, but there are actually 2,655 files listed in the dat file so I guess most of them WERE found. I'll try re-uploading everything and try the upgrade again.

[SOLVED] Call to undefined method CMSMailer::GlobalContentPreCompile()

All fixed now I think. The hosting account was close to its disk quota, so I suspect when I unzipped the upgrade files it ran out of space (although cPanel gave no indication of a problem).

I doubled the quota to get some head room, and unzipped again and re-ran the upgrade. No problems - everythnig seems to be working just fine.
