Modules

Help with getting the CMS CORE package up and running. This does not include 3rd party modules, PHP scripts, anything downloaded via module manager or from any external source.

Modules

Post by snute2008 »

Hi, I am really new to CMSMS and just finding my feet.  I have a question regarding modules.

When I click on the modules tab of this website I get a list of all the modules that are available, is there anyway to search or sort to see ones that I might be interested in.  For example I am interested in an Newsletter module but to be honest I just clicked on "N" but that will only show ones that have "N" in the title?

Also, once a module is selected is there a way to see the installation instructions or a demo of that particular module?

Thanks very much for your help.

If are looking at the forge you can use the search there to look for modules also, in the admin of an installed CMS Made Simple you can go to Module Manager to see a list of modules available to you more specific to your version, they should have a bit of a description and a Help that may kind of explain what it does...

No sorry there isn't really a demo of modules as they may do things even the Develop[er didn't think of, but you may go to, or search, the Show Off to find different modules and how they were used as we ask that they be listed in the post, and this is one of the reasons...
