installing on local disk

Help with getting the CMS CORE package up and running. This does not include 3rd party modules, PHP scripts, anything downloaded via module manager or from any external source.

installing on local disk

Post by rwoods5 »

I'm having problems installing CMS Made Simple on my local computer, I followed the instructions on Installing on Local Windows PC. I get an error that the page can't be found, I type in the browser http://localhost/cmsmadesimple.

You have a folder that says cmsmadesimple in your htdoc folder or wherever the system you use tells you to put it, it helps if we know hwat you use to try getting it running on PC, xampp or wamp or ?...

And you may need to put / at the end of URL as then it will look in that folder...

To install... localhost/cmsmadesimple/install/install.php

If already installed... localhost/cmsmadesimple/index.php

Success thank you all, I found that xampp was not functioning properly, reinstalled it and CMS installed perfectly.
