[SOLVED] Where/How To Install Additional Themes

Help with getting the CMS CORE package up and running. This does not include 3rd party modules, PHP scripts, anything downloaded via module manager or from any external source.

[SOLVED] Where/How To Install Additional Themes

Post by rshepard »

I've successfully installed CMS locally and I'd like to add the themes I downloaded from the website. I have 4 .zip files and two .xml files. What do I do with the .xml files?

I assume that the zipped files get unzipped in /var/www/htdocs/cmsms/admin/templates. Is that correct?

TIA,

Rich

I found the Wiki page describing what to do and tried this with the BizBuzz theme. After importing the BizBuzz.xml and making that theme the default, I tried viewing my site. No theme at all; a menu list on the left is all I see, so I'm still missing something despite reading the README file in that theme's directory.

I learned that this requires a combination of the theme manager to import the themes, and the template manager to select them.
