Pages taking 3/4 secs to load - is this slow?

My pages are taking 3/4 seconds to load in Firefox 1.5 Mac:


Although they seem to be a little quicker on IE6:


This is my first ever install of CMSMS so not sure if this is normal:  I'm on shared hosting, and have installed a couple of modules, but that's the only changes made so far.

The control panel pages seem to take even longer than this to load - I'm not sure the client will be too keen on this 

Any advice on speeding up much appreicated!

Well, when I tried your site, I got about 1.75 seconds consistently.  So maybe there is something happening with your connection or something I'm not sure, but even 1.75 seconds seems kinda slow for the content on that page.  so I'm not sure what is happening there.
