Hi,
I desperately need help...
I've installed CMSMS without any problem on this shared hosting environment... After the clean install, when saving settings for CMSMailer, the server produces a 403 error (permission related). The settings are saved, and the mailer actually works (sends test email message), but for some reason, after saving the settings, the server does not allow CMSMS to redirect (with debug=true, I get the message "Debug is on. Redirecting disabled... Please click this link to continue.", and after I click on the link, I get 403 error... )...
It is also hapening with another 3rd party module, but I suppose it is server related and have no clue on what to do...
URL below shows the "edit settings" form
/admin/moduleinterface.php?sp_=1fdce756&module=CMSMailer
On submit, with debug on, the url below is where the script should be redirected
/admin/moduleinterface.php?mact=CMSMailer,m1_,defaultadmin,0&sp_=1fdce756&m1_input_charset=utf8&m1_input_mailer=smtp&m1_input_host=mailcluster.loopia.se&m1_input_secure=&m1_input_port=587&m1_input_from=sasa%40mojljubimac.rs&m1_input_fromuser=DTE%20Administrator&m1_input_sendmail=%2Fusr%2Fsbin%2Fsendmail&m1_input_timeout=1000&m1_input_smtpauth=1&m1_input_username=sasa%40mojljubimac.rs&m1_input_password=BLABLA&m1_submit=Submit&m1_input_testaddress=
Whan I click the provided URL, I am presented with 403 forbidden page
You don't have permission to access /admin/moduleinterface.php on this server.
CMSMailer saves the settings and sends the test message, but allways redirects me to the 403 page...
Notes on the setup:
URL REWRITING - none
PHPINFO
http://www.down2earth.com.au/cms/index. ... ness-model
Any help is welcome
thx in advance

Re: [HELP] CMSMailer module produce error 403 on save settings
I changed my host and all 403 errors are gone...
If you don't have mod_security enabled, this is probably not your issue...
there may be also some issues with open basedir setting if not set correctly...
From my experience, I would advise you to change the host... the errors I was experiencing didn't show up in apache log files (except for mod_security dissalowing access to /var/msd/ip or something similar... but i suppose this wasn't relevant to troubleshoot)
It's much easier to switch hosts than to help administrator set up the server according to your needs...

I suggest you open a new post in Modules discussion - this is for core issues...
This one is solved anyway...
and post more details about the problem
