How to dynamically create new page and add it to menu(but not using admin page)?

Post by jacekk »

Hi, I found out that CMS MS is good when we have website with rather limited and static number of pages. Of course pages can contain dynamic content like photo gallery, and we can do it using suitable javascript.

I don’t know if it is possible to build site where users can create new pages and add them to dedicated menu? Like new documents in OpenOffice or Word in menu Window?

Is there in the CMS MS mechanism to help do such dynamic work?

Where I should look?

Nobody is going to help me ;-( ?

Is it possible that CMSMS hasn't such functionality?..

Somebody on the polish sub-forum told me about using News to do this.
But this approach isn't so funny and isn't easy for me too.

I think rather about extracting some functionality from addcontent.php to allow creating new pages and place them in proper menu position. Is it realizable?

Why authors of the CMSMS not created or maybe disabled such possibility?

It is obvious for me that mechanism to adding new pages (like reports) using special php api and without using admin panel (in fact without using ANY panel) should be available in CMS MS to increase it field of use.

It would be very kind if anybody help me and point direction.
Thank you,
Jacek
