Smarty errors?

Okay... so my host upgraded to PHP 5.

Brilliant. Have tried to upgrade CMSMS since then, but am getting smarty errors in the install pages, and though the install appears to 'work', when I go to log into the admin side, it comes up with Server 500 error.

What's going on?

Without much info to go on, it's difficult to determine.

It could be a setting in your config.php.
Or a problem with the .htaccess file.
