Following an upgrade of CMSMS to version 1.6.6 (cannot go any higher because we are using PHP4)
I can no longer see the images or thumbnails on the site. Even in the admin panel I can only see placeholders. I am using Photo Album, but even get placeholders in Image Manager. All the files are there and in the correct directory I'm sure but for some reason they will not show. Anyone got any ideas?

Re: Images not showing
OK - I have now installed from scratch - and get the same problem. I have checked the permissions and they seem fine, so must be something either in the hosting - which was fine before - or in the database. When I click on the placeholder for an image in the front end which usually brings up the larger image, I get an error message "HTTP Error 500 IISPassword for Internet Information Service".
That does sound like permissions of some sort, but I don't know where else to start.

Re: Images not showing
So you're on a windows server... you might try to delete the .htaccess files from the directories /images/ and /uploads/
Re: Images not showing
Thank you - that was the answer to the problem!
I deleted the .htaccess file in /uploads firstly and that solved the problem. Deleted the same file in /images also just to make sure!!
All up and running again on the newer version.
Thanks for taking the time to look.
