BACKUP - what's the easiest way

I would like to create an automated backup procedure so my database and all the CMS files are backed up on a daily basis. 

Any ideas how to accomplish this?

Is there a module that could be loaded inside the CMS portal?

You host should provide backup processes via cron. They are usually the best.
