Module Manager empty - can't find nuSOAP 1.0.1 only ver 1.0

hi everyone

i have just added the Module Manager module to be able to upgrade my modules however it lists nothing when I select this module from the Extensions navigation. I am testing it locally, not online.
basically nothing happens if I click on either of the tab links (Available Upgrades Available Modules Preferences)
as I understand this module has a dependency of the nuSOAP module which I added however the nuSOAP version I found on the Forge is 1.0 and couldn't find the 1.0.1 version about which most discussions are mentioning

I simply want to avoid to upgrade a module by overwriting it and risking to loose some precious data

any tip from anyone?
