Ok I moved my upgraded 1.8.1 site that I could not log into to a new host and all is well EXCEPT I see things like these instead of the expected words in the admin "--Add Me - addcontent -- --Add Me - addcontent ----Add Me - expandall -- --Add Me - expandall -- --Add Me - contractall -- --Add Me - contractall -- --Add Me - reorderpages -- --Add Me - reorderpages --"
what have I done wrong?

Either the language files are missing, or your admin path in config.php is wrong.

probably files not loaded up correct or wrong permissions on folders and or files
