Linking to content pages

Sorry if this is answered elsewhere, I looked and didn't see anything too pertinent.

I have a site that I created and I am trying to use the menus (just CSS lists) that I had already made instead of using the built in menu handler.

What I need to know is how to link to individual content sections -- i.e. how to create links to those pages/sections.

Say if I have a page aliased as copyrights and I wan't to create a link to that page from the footer, how do I do that? (I would do the same for my menus so explaining that would be great)

OK, nevermind. I wasn't looking in the right place.

I just needed to use {cms_selflink page="alias" text="display text"}
