Extreme Upgrade!

Hey guys!

I work for a school that is currently running CMS Made Simple v1.0.2 ...

In the interests of not letting it go another million years without an update, I'd like to upgrade them to the latest stable release.

So... what's the best way of going about upgrading that far? Or would we be just better off to scrap what we've got and start with a fresh install?

Hi. Based on my experience with CMSMadeSimple, it depends on many factors (customization, modules used, etc).

My upgrade method: leave only the database, delete old files, install new version, upgrade the CMS, update modules (if needed).
