[solved] Making news title link to a page - I saw this before?

I once used a modification I found here which enabled me to specifiy a custom link for news titles. Now I can't find it. Does anyone know where this is?

This news modification allowed me to enter a URL into the Extra: field and then when you clicked on the news title it would take you to that URL.

Help finding this would be appreciated. Still searching...

That seems like what I want to do. I don't remember translating Dutch before but the steps look simple enough. I am going to try that in a new 1.8.1.

It worked! It was tricky because I am using a different theme with 1.8.1 and the news templates are different but I figured it out from your Dutch language thread.

If anyone else tries this with a translator, do not copy the code from Google translator. It changes the code. I should have seen that right away. All is good... for now
