Missing 404 tab in GLOBAL SETTING
Missing 404 tab in GLOBAL SETTING
Prior to v1.8 there was a 'Custom 404 Handling' tab under SITE ADMIN/GLOBAL SETTINGS. Has that been moved, or has it been deleted permanently, or forgotten in v1.8 and v1.8.1? Or what is the new workaround for that great built in function? Thank you to any who can help.
Re: Missing 404 tab in GLOBAL SETTING
Hi,
Version 1.8 - Madagascar
- Remove the old 404 handler stuff
The old custom 404 stuff is gone out of the global settings. The new error page stuff that has been in for a while will be used instead.

JCE, thank you. Sorry for the ignorance, but could you enlighten me on how to use "the new error page stuff" or where to find documentation on that?
Re: Missing 404 tab in GLOBAL SETTING
JCE, found it. It is content type. So, that's the "old way"? Whatever works. Thank you.
Re: Missing 404 tab in GLOBAL SETTING
The tab is missing, but yet my old 404 page is still working.
So should it bother with creating a 404 error page?
or just have a "hidden" 404 page feature?
