Creation of Secure Area / 1.8.1

Here's how it needs to work (currently on 1.8.1):

1. User A logs in and can see User A page.
2. User B logs in and can see User A and B's pages.
3. If someone tries to hit them directly, they are re-routed to the login page.

It's almost working now. It works in Safari for some reason, but not in FF or IE. I am looking for help in getting this to work properly.
