I had to reinstall fresh cmsms site, but I forgot to backup database. Now I have only files copied via ftp. There was not yet any content given to the site so I dont worry about that. But is there any way to get my template html and css files recovered?
I tried installing new cmsms so it builds database and then changed all the files with fpt but that dont seem to work. Any idea that would give easier approach than starting from beginning?
[solved] db lost, can still get html and css recovered?

sorry, the templates and css are stored in the database. If you overwrite the database, and didn't have a backup you are probably pooched.
The ONLY things you may be able to do are:
a) If you were using the TemplateExternalizer module, check the tmp/externalizer directory (by default) to see if there are any files left there.
b) try to extract some stuff out of your browser cache (but that may be lost too, now that you've re-installed).

Happened to a customer of mine with an entire (and finished - already published) site. Called my host and asked him to put backup from the day before in the account, worked like a charm

Yeah, backups are important... and hopefully your host has them... but I wouldn't rely on it.

True... And NEVER allow a customer to give a stupid intern full admin rights and access to FTP, or have customer sign that he solely is responsible for backups...
