Version 1.8.1 File Manager Date Format

I'm not sure if this is the correct forum. Please let me know if I should post this elsewhere.

I have recently updated a site to 1.8.1, and all modules have been updated with Module Manager.

File Manager is at 1.0.2.

When displaying the file list the dates show as %m/%d/%Y %X even though My Preferences/User Preferences is set to %d/%m/%Y %X.

This happens with 1.7.1 as well where File Manager is also 1.0.2. The date string in this case is %d/%m/%Y due to a recently fixed bug with the length of the date format string.

It appears to me that File Manager is not honouring the date format string.

Is there a place I have missed to set this behaviour to the way I want?
