I have a bit of a trouble getting these 2 modules up and running properly, so if anybody has some spare time to help it would be highly appreciated...
First of all the configuration I'm using:
- CMSMS 0.11.2 (I tried to upgarde to 0.12.1 but I had several issues, so I'd prefer to stay with this version).
- FrontEnd Users 1.0.0
- CMS Mailer 1.73.9
Installation issue with the SelfRegistration module
I tried to install SelfRegistration 1.0.1 (I believe these versions should be compatible with each other), but when I click "install" in the "Modules" page within the "Admin" area all I get is a blank screen (with the admin menu) and the SelfRegistration module does not get installed.
FrontEnd Users - change settings doesn't work
After logging in through FrontEnd Users I'm presented with a "Change Settings" link. However it opens a blank page only. I can see that it is possible to define a page id/alias within the "Preferences" tab of FrontEnd User's admin area, but if I create a blank page and define its alias for the "Change Settings" form, clicking the link after login will open the this new page but the form will not be displayed. What am I missing?

Re: FrontEndUsers and SelfRegistration - help needed
Hi there
I'll try to take a look back through the versions and recall what versions of selfreg are compatible with feusers, etc.
You really should go to 0.12.1 if you can (we'll help you through any issues). The changes in the newer versions of the core, selfreg and feusers are worth it if you really need to handle a fair number of users.
Secondly.... if you're getting a blank page, try doing a view of the page source, and see if there are any errors in the source that you can't see on the page. This usually where you find stuff.
Thirdly.... The preference for the change user settings page is used to allow you to display a custom page when the user wishes to change their settings. You will need to put a {cms_module module=FrontEndUsers form=changesettings} tag on that page in order to see anything.
Hope this helps.

Re: FrontEndUsers and SelfRegistration - help needed
Thanks. I created a new page and insterted the {cms_module module=FrontEndUsers form=changesettings} tag - now I'm getting "nocache" errors
Probably you are right and I should try to upgrade again and let you know what got broken... - it's not that I need more functonality but maybe some of these issues will go away.

the nocache errors are an indication of another error. viewing source and carefully looking for the word "Error" should tell you something.
