[Solved]specific template for specific page

Post by 11red »

Hi all,

First of I'm a complete noob, and would have posted this in a noob forum if there was one...i know very litte about css and nothing about smartie...I'm plaing around with CMSMS 1.8 as I hoped it would be a simple way of creating simple decent looking websites...and so far it has lived up to it's name.

What I can't seem to click is how to assign a specific template to a specific page or pages? My "Home" page uses template1, and every other page will use template2, but I'm not sure where to assign it as the only option i keep running into for templates, is "Set all pages".

I've searched the forum, but my understanding is so woefull at the moment that I'm not even sure how to verbalise my problem.

Thanks for any help.

When you go to Content -> Pages you can also tick the checkboxes for the pages on which you want to change the template and then select "Change Template" from the dropdown list in the lower right corner.
