Hi Guys

Wonder If someone could help me.

I am jsut starting my first website and am looking to create my first template but I have little artistic flare for website deisgn and not cash very little cash to get Job done professionally.

Does anyone know of any training guides to capture me imagination?

Google CSS templates.. that should get you going as CMSMS can take almost any template out there and use it.. (with the understanding that you have to add in the module tags as needed and part out pieces of templates into the module ie: news etc.)

What I often do if I don't need the entire site designed is hire an artist just to make the main header graphic across the top. 

Then I take the colors in that art and use web tools to look up all the colors that "go" like complimentary, tetra, etc which gives me a palette for things like borders and backgrounds and such.  Even doing your own graphics for rounded corners or gradients or such is pretty easy if you know what colors to use.

Last step is making sure my colorblind husband can read it easily. 

It's not the same as having an entire web site designed by an artist, as they generally are going to be better at creative stuff than me, but... to hire a header done usually costs $30-50 whereas to hire a full design costs several hundred bucks.
