[SOLVED-ish] v1.8 Clear Cache

Hi,

I had 1.7 installed and it was working perfectly. If I updated text on a page or in a GBC, it updated on the site. I upgraded to 1.8 yesterday and now the only way to see updates is to clear the cache manually. What would have changed? Permissions seem to be accurate, but maybe I'm missing something?

Any thoughts are highly appreciated as I'm heading in to a meeting with my customer today to demo the site...

Now at 1.8.1 and still struggling with this issue. Both apply and submit have no immediate affect on the site itself. I have to go into Global Settings, Advanced, and hit Clear Cache for the page to get updated on the site. Thoughts?

I did the clear_cache thing from this post and it worked: http://forum.cmsmadesimple.org/index.ph ... 884.0.html

I'm still not sure why it's required in this version and not in previous versions. Still lovin' the CMS. Will do some testing on other servers to see if I can locate the issue.
