Bug or Feature? Additional editors question

Hi,

I am unsure about this, as it might be a feature ...

The problem: When you add an additional editor to a page, and the user only has the "add pages" and "remove pages" rights, then you MUST  make the "page alias" field available on the page editor's first page. If you don't, the page will be renamed to the menu-field entry automatically when the user saves the page.

I guess it is a bug, but who knows ...

what version are you on? As I recall that this was fixed in the 1.8-series.

But as i can see it in the code of the latest release (1.8 ) it is not implemented.
Also not in SVN.
I also did not see any other solution where it might be fixed.
(Sorry, i'm not able to test it at the moment)

Aaah ... sorry. I was on 1.7.1 ... will upgrade immediately and check again.
