I would like to create a recurring event in CGCalendar which will occur every Sunday except for the first Sunday of each month. Is there any way of doing this?
I can create an event which occurs on the 2nd, 3rd and 4th Sundays of each month, or 2nd, 3rd and last Sundays, but neither of these do what I want in months with 5 Sundays. If I try to create it for 2nd, 3rd, 4th and last Sundays then this creates conflicting events.
It would be easy if it was possible to create a recurring event on the 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th Sundays, but there is no provision in the module for an event on the 5th Sunday of a month.
Is it possible to do this, or can anyone suggest a good workaround?
Thanks
CGCalendar - recurring events
Re: CGCalendar - recurring events
Why not just create the recurring event for every Sunday, then delete the child events for the first Sundays of each month?
Re: CGCalendar - recurring events
You're probably right - that probably is the easiest way. I was trying to do something clever, but setting it up a year ahead and deleting 12 events isn't going to take long.
Re: CGCalendar - recurring events
Would that solution work for what I am trying to do? I have several events that occur only on the [N] [day] of every month. (E.g., we have a meeting on the 2nd Thursday, 2nd Tuesday, etc. So should I create one event for every Thursday, and delete all but the 2nd?
I have looked at both CGCal and the regular Cal modules and they don't have this capability, but Google Calendar does. But I really don't want to switch if it can be done somehow with a CMSMS module.
Nevermind! CG Cal does this; you can specify a certain nth day of the month! Woohoo!! {{kiss}} for Calguy!! (I should have know HE would come through for me!)
Thanks!
