News article --> blank page

Hi!
I'm testing cmsms 0.12 and have an issue:
I have a news site that shows the summaries ok, but when I click the header or the "more" link on the news item, I get a totally empty/blank page, no tags or anything.
I tried searching the forums and I found similar bug reports for previous versions. I tried turning on debug in config.php, and then I get a page that's not empty, but that has nothing except the header for the news (index) page and the menus. There's no debug info available.

I don't have root access to this server so I'm not able to turn on or off php features. If I have a request I can make it. I think it's running on FreeBSD, actually.
I browsed the changelog for 0.12.1, but my "visual grep" didn't detect any comment on this issue there ... Any ideas?

Upgrading to 0.12.1 actually seems to have fixed the problem.
