Problems Creating Content

Post by pdayment »

Hello, I am having a problem adding content to one of my sites and it is a bit urgent....

When I add "Normal" content to the Site it works fine..

when I add any other types of content such as a section header, Internal page link, external page link, ect, it comes up with a message saying "IT WAS SUCESSFULLY ADDED" but then it never appears in any of the menus..

Your help on a timly basis is greatly appreciated,

Thanks, Pat!

Another Problem I have is when I try to give a user permissions from the Group Assignments area, it removes everyones current assignment so you have to go add assignments user by user...

Oh, one more, when working with Blogs made simple, after you hit submit on anything, it kick you off but does save the changes you made.....

are you running a clean install, or an upgraded version?

I have seen the permission being taken before, but that was solved some versions ago.

Are you using a regular menutemplate, or a modified one?
Are the pages not showing in listcontent, or not on the frontend?

I am having the same problem creating content (ie. Section Header). It will not appear in the back end even though it says it has been added to the database. I am also running v1.7.1 as a new installation, not an upgraded one.
Thanks,
Chris
