goofy text after turning off admin bookmarks

Post by kermit »

i went in and turned off the admin bookmarky thing and the next page that displayed had text messed up. see attached screenshot. clicking on a menu item to go to another admin page returns the view to 'normal'.  happened on two different installs with ff and ie.

this is 0.12.final running on Linux with Apache/1.3.34, PHP/4.4.1 and MySQL/4.0.25-standard.

Can you try a different browser?  I think I might have an issue with the default language parsing and it might be getting confused as to if it should be using en_US.

it only happens on the page view immediately following turning the thing off, once you click another menu item, everything is back to normal... and i did try this on two different installs (on two different domains but on the same server), once with ie and once with firefox (same xppro client system).

those two times were the only times i've noticed it. i saw it happen once, so i tried it again on another install & with another browser and it happened again. i go back to one of those just now, and turn the bookmarky things on & back off again and it didn't do it.
